 Twin sisters, Judy and Raie Moss registered
Mat-Tastic as a company on the 23rd October 1996.
The girls decided there was a definite need for quality
exercise mats in Australia and have found this in the new
Swiss Airex mat. Airex prides itself on being the only
company in the world that has developed the process for
making a “closed-cell” foam mat of such a high standard.
The twins have 30 years of experience in competitive sport
in Athletics (at National & International level) and State
League Volleyball.
Judy also has a Physical Education background (Degree
Applied Science) and 15 years teaching experience.
The girls believe they are on a winner because of the
quality of their product. As the mats are not covered in
vinyl, one gets the benefit of the “closed-cell” process
which allows excellent protection for the whole body whilst
doing any form of exercise.
The twins also complement this range with a range of
“anti-fatigue” mats which act as an insulation mat against
ground cold, dirt and moisture. An excellent mat for easing
lower back and leg pain if standing all day on the job.
The twins believe the product sells itself because of two
factors – the “closed-cell” process and the quality of the
end product. Their company, Mat-Tastic, has sole
distribution rights in Australia in the fitness industry.
Mat-Tastic also offers a range of other fitness products
including Fit Balls, Yoga Sticky Mats and Thera-band
products.
